KID’S CORNER: This week, kids can come and decorate a water bottle with fun stickers! You can take them back to school! The project is free and open to school age children. Water bottle decorating will be from 10:00-12:00, Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Kid’s Corner of the Lubbock Downtown Farmer’s Market.
TASTE OF THE MARKET: Looking for new lunch ideas for the upcoming school year? How about Fiery Carrot Dip paired with bread or fresh vegetable sticks from the LDFM! This Saturday at the Food Access Booth, we will have a Probadita from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at the Market. A Probadita, which translates to “a small taste”, will be conducted by The Happy Kitchen/La Cocina Alegre (a program of Sustainable Food Center) and will feature their Fiery Carrot Dip recipe from their cookbook.
