Cosplay Hours: Building with EVA Foam
Join the LBK Guardians for an instructional EVA foam building session and focused project! Our “Building with EVA Foam” series will include a 30 minute discussion on basic foam building techniques such as: sourcing the right foam for your project, working with patterns, cutting tools and styles, heat gun techniques and forming skills. Then stick around and work on your own foam project or join us for a semi structured building activity: Build a Shoulder Pauldron or Arm Bracer for the upcoming Hub city Renaissance Fair! Basic patterns, foam, glue, and cutting tools will be provided.
Join us in the Graffiti Building from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. for Cosplay Hours with LBK Guardians! This event is free in part of Weekends at LHUCA. If you would like to work on your own projects, please bring your cosplay materials. If you have black sheets or rolls of either 5mm or 6mm thickness EVA foam and would like to share with other members of Cosplay Hours, we gladly accept donations!
