Bards and Brews: Comedy Show and Pub Sing

Ahoy, Mateys! Gather your companions and join the fun at the Bards and Brews Comedy Show and Pub Sing for an interactive evening of sketch comedy, original music, and a sea shanty sing along! Bards and Brews is the first event of the year kicking off the Hub City Renaissance Faire season, featuring performances by West Texas Comedy and the Bards and Brews Pub Singers! Dress in theme, whether you are a pirate, siren or an original character from your favorite Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
Start the evening with West Texas Comedy in The Comical Chronicles, a pirate-themed Dungeons & Dragons comedy show. Attendees call the shots in this as they, along with the Narrator, shape the story of The Comical Chronicles. Enjoy an evening of laughs and shenanigans as the West Texas Comedy performers flex their comedic improvisation skills in this interactive, unscripted show!
End the evening with Captain Gilbert’s pirate crew in the Bards and Brews Pub Sing! But this is not just their stage: it is yours! The Pub Sing is an interactive singalong featuring original music, comedy and your favorite sea shanties. The Pub Sing will feature performances by Lubbock’s favorite performers including Horizon School of the Arts Artistic Director, Travis Burge; west-Texas singer songwriter, Russell Joe Thompson; and Justin Garcia of Shakedown Cruise.
